A song can be very meaningful for someone. For example if you found the love of your life while hearing a song you will never forget this song and it will be connected for ever to this person. Music can make us happy and it can help us in painful situations too. Thats exactly what I would like to give to the people with my songs.
Music is good if it brings us in contact with our feelings
and for this reason it should also be created out of feelings and not out of an algorithm from a computer program. That’s why creativity is the most important thing form e when writing songs. Fort he creation of melodies and chord sequencies I only use my keyboard, nothing is created of suggested by a computer program.
I prefer to use native instruments in my songs
that are common with typical live bands that are playing pop music. This way my songs can easier be played by „typical“ live bands later and can make people happy more often .
If a song is created in collaboration with a singer or lyricist
the way of working is always different. It depends on the kind of people that are coming together. Sometimes it makes sense that the song writer takes the leader role and sometimes not. Sometimes many good pieces are already existing and they just need to be lined up in the right way. Flexibility in the way of collaboration is the key to success.
